The High Desert Inn is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are a limited number of two- and four-bedroom TLF house units but most have a queen and twin-size bed a well as cooking facilities. Visitor's Quarters are also available, with smaller quarters. There are a limited number of Pet TLF units available.

Costs for nightly rooms are very reasonable. Airmen PCSing to Edwards AFB have up to 30 days of lodging authorized. Make sure to call for advance reservations.

Local hotels and motels are also available, often with a military special.
