Housing Information
The military provides two options for the use of your Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) 
The first option is living on base. Your second option is using your BAH to rent or buy a home off base. 

• The Housing Management Office (661) 277-4506 can answer all of your on- and off-base housing questions. Contact the HMO Office as soon as you know you are moving. You will be provided with the latest information on local housing, referral services and relocation assistance. The HMO offers counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement, as well as resolving tenant-landlord disputes. 

Edwards AFB On Base Housing 

• The Unaccompanied Housing Office (661) 277-6783 is reserved for airmen in the ranks of E1-E3 and E4 with less than 3 years of service. You are provided with private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens and supplies required for comfortable living.
  

• Edwards AFB on-base housing is privatized and operated by Corvias Military Homes - Edwards (661) 385-6060, which offers duplexes and single family homes with 2-4 bedrooms. They're a pet friendly community with washer and dryer hookups, lawn care, water and sewer included. There are 740 housing units for nearly 6,000 on-base residents. Single family and duplex homes are located in communities featuring walking paths, playgrounds, athletic courts, and parks. Please keep in mind that there is a process involved in renting on base housing, which may include wait times.
